Darla is a yellow Labrador Mix that was outside chained to a bucket and nobody who can't play with.. She never had a place where she can feel safe and loved. The SPCA of Tennessee give her a chance and she got vetted and went to a foster home where she can learn to be loved and be happy. Darla now Luna has been adopted and she is living the life that she always deserved to have. Darla has a brothers at her new home and she is happy with her new family.
Persephone a beautiful Black Labrador Retriever has a beautiful story. She was found without any hope and not love from humans. Her foster mom took her into her wings gave her a chance to be a dog and to learn that she can trust humans and dogs can be her friends. After over a year of having Persephone in her care, the right person came to understand her and give her a chance. Persephone found her forever home and with the guidance of her foster mom the new family learned to understand her and keep woking with her until she won their trust.
Truman is another heartbreaking story. He was at the shelter in Brownsville, TN and he was in so bad shape, with skin issues and a really big stomach full of liquid.. After so many offices and having to do an ultrasound and echocardiogram we found out Truman had an issue with his right valve of his heart. Truman was born that way and he will need to be in medication for the rest of his life,. Unfortunately according to the cardiologist his life spam will be around 2-3 years due to his serious heart disease. However Truman found his forever home with an amazing family who will care for him until then.
Cloud a Pyrenness mix was found running the streets in Jackson and he was caught by his foster mom near a stream. His foster mom work with him and he turned into a fantastic dog and he was adopted by an amazing family.
Another sad story Hooch came from Brownsville, TN shelter and he had a huge access on his right side of his jaw. He also was heartworm positive and he had a few visits at the vet and he finally got well and was adopted by a wonderful family.
Romeo had an owner who passed away and the family members did't want him because he was deaf. He went to a foster home where he was loved. Romeo was not neutered and he didn't have any vet records. He got fully vetted and now he is enjoying his new life with a wonderful couple and who has a Yorkshire Terrier.
